Locality Bar is the place to be for the BEST craft cocktails in Bridgeport TX!
Now that the world is opening up a little more these days, my traveling bug is kicking in and I am beginning to discover new places to venture in my home state.
While enjoying my stay at the RB Golf Club and Resort, my friends and I decided to venture out a bit to explore and discover more of the fun things in town. About 15 mins away from Runaway Bay lies the Locality Craft Cocktail Bar located in Bridgeport TX.
Fresh Ingredients like these are ALWAYS a great sign that top notch drinks are on the way!
Locality is a super laid back, picturesque cocktail bar that serves craft cocktails using top shelf ingredients with a side of style to boot. We were immediately impressed not only with the space but also the knowledge of all the mixologists on hand. They asked us which types of flavors we typically gravitate to when drinking cocktails and gave us the best recommendations from their selections. I will say that I appreciate bars with limited menus such as Locality because it tells me that every cocktail is well thought out and created with perfection in mind.
I truly enjoyed the Staycation, Bird of Paradise and the Red Light District!
So let’s talk DRINKS….3 words…Did. Not. Disappoint! Fresh, full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The standout drink for me was the Red Light District (far right). This drink is deceiving in the best way possible….it looks small but there’s enough for 2 here…yes 2. And can we talk about the presentation? My drink was in a light bulb! Quite frankly it’s the “brilliance” for me. The name of the drink got me thinking about a popular song by a similar name by the 90’s group TLC…..if you know you know. I bet you’re singing it now just like I am….you’re welcome.
Other recommended drinks are the Cousin Eddie, Life’s a Beach, Strawberry Fizz and Puttin’ on the Spritz.
My guy isn’t a big drinker but wanted to join in on the fun, but was undecided for the most part. The mixologist behind the bar did her thing and hooked him up with some tasty drinks that he truly enjoyed that are yet to be named. And speaking of enjoyment….
The guys became the LIFE of the party about an hour in! This was so much fun to see and experience. Nothing like strangers becoming instant friends sharing great stories over great drinks. To say they were a hit would be an understatement! I remember something about eating a pizza from the cool restaurant across the street, but I was already in the red from the Red Light District, LOL.
And you know the girls had fun too!
